Hackathon of Students from Israel and Switzerland
18th - 20th November
Mixed teams built with 50 students from the Holon Institute of Technology HIT, Israel, the Tel-Hai College, Israel, and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland, were challenged to develop solutions for a better human experience in hospitals. This hackathon was set up in collaboration with the Sheba hospital in Israel in order to improve the hospital’s human experience. Each of the teams received intensive coaching – and at the end, a winner-team was elected.
The students acquired additional skills and gained new friendships as a result of this three-day hackathon which took place on November 18 to 20, 2020.
Matchmaking Events
6th July & 10th August
Even though Corona did not allow us to further expand our Community face to face, it did not stop us, from using the digital channels and we were able to exchange and connect with each other at two Matchmaking Events in July and August.
In addition to the opportunity to get to know the BOCAF Community better, there were also links between Startups to benefit from each other.
SWISS COMMUNITY MEETING/ Pre-event
7th of February
During the first Swiss community meeting members, interested and friends had the opportunity to get to know each other and BOCAF!
Furthermore we talked about the Israeli trip in March and collected ideas and needs. The event was a complete success, accompanied by great conversations and an
awesome atmosphere.
NORTECH 2020 ISRAEL
22. - 23. January
NORTECH is an annual tech conference located in northern Israel. A BOCAF delegation had the opportunity to represent our community during this event.
We were stunned by the amount of interested people. At our first Israeli meeting we had about 10 entrepreneuers who came together to get to know each other and share their motivation and hopes. 🚀
